Sophia Barnes is an Australian writer, editor, and reviewer.
She holds a PhD in English Literature from the University of Sydney, and a Doctorate in Creative Arts from Western Sydney University.
She has worked as a professional freelance editor since 2013.
Sophia's writing has appeared in literary journals and edited collections in Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Her essays appear regularly in the Sydney Review of Books. She has published short fiction in Kill Your Darlings, Seizure Online, Wet Ink Magazine, Inktears and the collection Stories of Sydney.
